A Pictorial Guide To Beautiful Bulbs: From A to Z

I enjoyed this little book a lot! The history of bulbs was particularly interesting. The planting instructions were very clear (sun, shade, etc.). Would have liked to have the planting zones listed for handy reference. This is a good guide as I begin fall planting of bulbs and more bulbs. I highly recommend this book for beginning gardeners and "seasoned" ones as well.

An early reader described The Guide as " awesome, wonderful, informational, beautiful". This colorful guide to bulb selection is more than a collection of pretty pictures. Each picture carries comments like when to plant and when to blossom. It also provides critical (and sometimes negative) information that will enhance the users success

About the Author:

David Soper has been an active gardener for more than 40 years. His natural curiosity caused him to ask questions and seek answers from leading garden experts across the country. These gurus were very generous in their time and their advice can be found in my book.

I have had the privilege of serving on the board of the Northwest Perennial Alliance and the Seattle Rose Society where I learned a ton of practical information about how to maximize garden success.

My current book, "Garden Magic in Your Backyard!", is a second edition.

I am now working on a series of smaller books on specific topics like bulbs, perennials, annuals and grasses.
